What the buyer pays

One paid ticket, one order, domestic card, before sales tax. Published rates, November 2026. DICE is the US self sign-up rate. Humanitix is the USD gateway rate, 5% + $1.29, processing included. Eventbrite adds 2.9% of the order on top of 3.7% + $1.79.

Ticket Tailor can be lower. A $0.60 fee plus Stripe 2.9% + 30¢ is about $26.68 on a $25 ticket. Tickean is $27.50, in one line, with card processing included. TicketSpice Standard pass-on is about $26.90 on that ticket.

Questions

Who receives the ticket price?

The organizer keeps 100% of the face value. Buyers pay 10% per paid ticket. Card processing is inside that 10%. Stripe is not a second charge for the organizer or the buyer.

Is the fee per ticket or per order?

Per paid ticket. Two $25 tickets are 2 × $2.50 = $5.00. A free ticket is $0. A table is 5% of the table price.

What price should I advertise?

The total, booking fee included. A $25 ticket is $27.50. A $10 ticket is $11.00. A $40 ticket is $44.00. The FTC rule in force since May 12, 2025 requires that total up front. Sales tax can sit outside it.

How does 10% compare with DICE?

DICE US self sign-up, terms updated April 28, 2026, is 13% of face value, card processing included, added to the buyer's price. On a $25 ticket the buyer pays $28.25. Tickean is $27.50. DICE pays within five business days of the show and may hold up to 5% for six months. Partner deals are negotiated and are not this rate.

How does 10% compare with Eventbrite?

Eventbrite's published US rate is 3.7% + $1.79 per paid ticket, plus 2.9% of the order including that fee. On a $25 ticket the buyer pays $28.52. The usual payout is after the event. Tickean pays the ticket price within 2 business days of the sale.

Are you cheaper than Ticket Tailor?

No. Ticket Tailor's pricing calculator shows a $0.60 fee plus card processing. On a $25 ticket the buyer pays about $26.68 if Stripe's 2.9% + 30¢ is passed through on that one ticket. Tickean is $27.50, in one line, and the organizer does not run a Stripe account. TicketSpice Standard is $0.99 plus processing. On that same ticket their pass-on formula is about $26.90.

When do I get paid?

Within 2 business days of the sale, not after the event. A business day is a weekday that is not a US public holiday. A Friday sale is initiated on Tuesday. The bank posts the credit on its own clock.
