1. Controller

The controller of personal information for Tickean in the United States is Tickean Holdings LLC (EIN 37-2239745). Privacy requests: hola@tickean.com.

This policy is designed to comply with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) for California residents.

2. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact data (name, email, phone).
  • Account data and preferences.
  • Purchase, event, and digital-ticket data.
  • Device and browsing data.
  • Support communications.
  • Organizer KYB (corporate and tax documentation).

We do not store full card numbers (PAN) when the payment provider tokenizes the transaction. Payment-method data is processed by the relevant PSP/processor.

3. Purposes

  • Provide ticketing and issue access credentials.
  • Collect the service fee and invoice when required.
  • Fraud prevention and legal compliance (including tax and AML).
  • Customer support and refunds.
  • Product improvement.
  • Our own marketing only with separate consent where required; organizer marketing requires its own legal basis or consent.

4. Recipients

  • The event organizer (data needed for attendance/access).
  • Payment providers, processors, and acquirers.
  • Cloud, email, and analytics vendors (processors).
  • Authorities when required by law.

5. International transfers

Some vendors (cloud, payments, email, analytics) may process data outside the United States. We use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the transfer.

6. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose and for legal retention periods (tax, fraud prevention, consumer disputes, litigation). We then delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of personal information by emailing hola@tickean.com. California residents may also exercise CCPA/CPRA rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Tickean does not sell personal information for money. We honor browser opt-out signals where required (including GPC) for sharing used for cross-context advertising.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for site operation, usage measurement, and, where applicable, marketing. See the Cookie Policy.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, we will follow the required process.

10. Children
